Let me introduce myself, I am an orthopaedic Surgeon from India currently working in UK. I am a student of M.ch Orthopaedics at Dundee University.
I come from Bangalore in India, which boasts of computer programmers both Europe, and US combined.
My father H.R.Sunderraj has been a journlist for more than 25 years in Karnataka and practices typical oldtime honest journalism. I have imbibed his literary qualities including journalistic writing. I am married to Dr.Ramya, who is a gynaecologist and have troublesome two daughters.

I have some interest in Trauma Scoring Systems and Infection in Orthopaedics and Trauma settings. My love has been computers and got it in to addiction while I did my masters in Trauma Surgery from University of Birmingham.

Road Safety in India.
Practice of Trauma Surgery has become more complex with more Variety of trauma pouring in our centres. It is time that we get our figures right. Trauma audit and Outcome studies are becoming routine practice in western world. It is time we at India follow the suit. We need to maintain certain basic standards in Trauma Care, so that we can audit our own performance. It is also time we campaign for an ACCIDENT AND INCIDENT FREE INDIA.
To begin with if you are an Indian National please register your petition. As you may (or may not) know, I am one of those along with my friends who are into road safety campaign in India. We should not accept this low quality of health to our fellow countrymen. In 1997, there were about 225-250,000 deaths on Indian roads. Updesh Kapur is a travel journalist from the U.K. His wife died in a rather tragic road accident in India a few months ago. We are trying to start a multi-faceted campaign on this matter.
